Why are pikes so underrated?

Very simple, someone sees a baby pike buys it and puts it in a twenty gallon with cardinals and rasbora's. soon the tetras disapear they witness the pike eating. sells (or kills) the pike and spreads the word saying that pikes kill other fish! they warn the store staff and gets mad at him for selling him a "bad" fish. to avoid this again the staff doesnt recomend pikes to any one and soon the story is widespread. then someone gets a really aggresive pike (e.g. Cr. comprissceps ect.) and that story is widespread too. and it spreads.

Why is it that this is the only fish that induces threads like this?

Nothing wrong with those fish, but we can disagree with him for other reasons, such as liking african cichlid's.

just a personal thought of mine.
ever since i seen a pike
i thought it looked like
a piece of poo with a face on it.

plus they're pretty aggressive.
well they are extremely aggressive.
i go to a friends house and check out
his fish all the time and i dunno why
but a pike isn't a fish i like.
