why ask for stocking tips?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I like when people ask. It helps prevent bad stocking mistakes.

I always welcome questions where I can share advice and experience.

It seems this is always their intentions, but at the end of the day they will do whatever. A lot of people who ask are not so experienced or read much on fish sp. I rarely see any of the very experienced fish keepers ask. I just know what I like and what I have to work with. I'd rather do my home work and read before I ask or buy a fish.

What should I put in my 125? It is in my parents basement next to my bed and comic books.

You have made 3100 posts and ask this question? I hope you are as big a smartass as I am.

So what is the difference between asking "what should I stock my 10g tank with?" or "what should I do with my 10 gallon tank?"

I will be done with my 600 in the next few weeks. What should I put in it? I was originally going to get a trio of guppies but found out they would get ground up when they came back from my sump. Any other good ideas?

LOL...

Someday I will make a monster tank of 600+ gallons, buy a breeding pair of guppies. I will do a weekly 50% WC, then wait till my tank is overstock with guppies.

Filtration ? Eheim 2262 or Fluval FX6? :)

lol, that does sound creepy. Depending on the types of comic books, it could get real creepy!

My 2cents on the subject: Very healthy & wise to ask for stock suggestions here on the site. So many problems & $$spent could of been avoided for me if I had a site like this in my "aquatically confused" days
