Why can't my tank just be good for a day?

Im a 5 gallon buckets guy. I was raising 50 fry per 100g stock tank this spring...cleaned um all using a 5g bucket. Thats lots of trips with a 5g bucket.

Looks like you could grow macros in that little basket, and yes, I always recommend purigen. I cleaned a tank of a buddies that hasnt gotten an h2o change probably in MONTHS...only reason the corals are thriving and the fish are doing fine is because he forgot that he had purigen in the back of his HOB...what a hobo.

There...then just go to a hardware store, and buy some plastic hose that fits over the outlet nozzle. Maybe use a zip tie just to make sure that the connection is tight.

Hey I just got my pump...yesterday I do about 30-40% water change. I vacuumed the sand. Also I rinsed my foams and media inside tank water. I also cleaned the filter itself with tank water....I was told using tank-water you don't kill the beneficial bacteria.
