Not to disagree with you Bobby but in this case all the information needed is in the stickers. Asking questions without reading those first shows IMO disrespect to people who took the time to write them. I'm sorry to say but this site changed alot recently and not for the good. Being honest and direct is being perceived as rude and the fish welfare became secondary to people's "feelings". Is that what we want as hobbyists ?

True, fish versus dignity. We'll experience things differently, where is the hard & fast rule? The poor owner has already lost the aro, had a friend with comm of aro, datnoids, blue hooks & p13s. They were all wipe out within 3 days? We're still clueless about what went wrong.

Point being there are plenty of professionals here I'm sure, kindly teach me please. Don't have to learn what's hot by touching the kettle isn't it. I like the stickies, who doesn't?

Is it that hard to point a newbie to a thread? Also,
don't know about you, but I remember that
I was young once and made plenty of mistakes...
There IS a difference between saying what you
did was wrong and what was said in this thread...
Frankly I don't think people would say the things they
say here if they were face to face with the person.

Made me think for a while, hehe merry Christmas all.

That is just the youth these days so get used to it. they have been given so much their entire lives that they have lost the ability to read to learn and problem solve without being told what to directly, it is quite sad actually. And hurting their feelings (real or perceived) is a big no no, then they will tell mom. You think this is bad try teaching them chemistry and physics.

It's easier to pick on people online than face to face...
Everyone makes mistakes, online you don't see everyone's mistakes and people can get a holier-than-thou attitude.

I have made plenty of mistakes, I don't always follow recommendations from people either. I certainly don't follow certain people ideal fish rules - right now I have two flowerhorns, each in their own tank - a 10 gallon. OMG! If I posted that in most forums I would get cr@p for it. The fish are fine, just like this little fish was fine in the 30 gallon - it's temporary. My flowerhorn are 2-3 inches, and in quarantine tanks until I get their 75 gallon tanks set up this week. I don't think this poor fish's death had anything to do with tank size. Water conditions, temp, chemicals, food, or just plain bad luck all could have caused this death, too many details were left unknown to even judge what happened.
