I'm sure the majority of the people here have had this "addiction" at some point. Fish keeping to me is like crack to a crack head. With the extra money you have it would be wise to stock up on tanks, so you won't have to worry about where to put them. :D

I like your style! I currently have 180s, 125, 55 x 6, 40 breeder and bunch of 20s and under. I'm going to buy two more tanks, since I cant get my 180 into my fish room. The 180 in the garage will be sold then I'm going to buy a double stack of 125s, 100s, or 75s. So I probably have too many tanks atm. Another option for me is to lose the 55s and replace them all with 75s, but I hate to lose money on tanks. My battle now is wallspace and I'm getting a bit overworked on the number of tanks. But yeah I'm with you. Now is the time to get the tanks. I just don't want to get burn out and be stuck with 20 tanks.

Same here: luckily the owner of my LFS will swap back and forth with me. It has become a saturday ritual for my son and I to visit the LFS. Just to look around of course.

more tanks and more fish will deff break you wallet. i get my krill at wholesale for 5 dollers for a 1 pound bag and i go through 10 bags every month and half, let alone bloodworms. and thats with the fish i have now. i want to go add a 300 gallon and fill it with suff i use to own like arows and gars etc,,, couldnt imaging how much food id go though then. id end up having a 100 doller fish food bill each month. got to stay in your boundries no matter how much you dont want to.

when you run out of wall space move to the basement and put in a pond. alot of the fish you have would get along alright given the room. you could free up alot of tanks by consolidating the majority of your fish into a 1000 gal indoor pond.

saves time, money, and lets you keep alot of real monsters. to feed my fish i go fishing, whatever i catch i cut up, freeze and feed cubes of meat to my fish. works great, extra cheap too.

I think about what it would be like with the full grown tank and that usually makes me reconsider. Fish like any animal need ample room and even in some of the biggest home aquariums I still feel like they would be happier in a pool or pond. Considering the impact that adding more fish would have on my existing fish helps me to refrain.

I currently have 4 fish in a 90 (and a snail and two crawfish). As much I would like to get more I want them to enjoy their life more than I enjoy their life.

yes!,replace all of the 55 gallons with 75 gallons, then, replace all of the 75 gallons with 100 gallons, then, replace all the 100 gallons with-ya get the picture?Go to an A.A. meeting and tell them you can relate to addiction because you are a fish- aholic lol.dont worry man-if ya got the money-why not?I am addicted myself-its just me.and i/we cant harm anyone by a fish addiction.(I dont think?)

i try not to buy without planning but if i a fish i have been looking for a while or something rare and a real nice species i am going to buy it and i will get rid of some fish if i have to
