I love dats but their hype and astronomical price tags make them less appealing to me. Kind of a smudge on an otherwise beautiful fish.

their was sort of a hype which started about 5-7 years ago which led to the over fishing of ST you can only keep taking small ST from the wild for a certain amount of time before it starts having a effect on the wild population
ST take along time to mature and 5-7 years ago we were taking much to many the same small ST we were taking then would now be adults reproducing small ST of their own
lets hope the same thing doesnt happen to IT,AT,NTT and NGT with all the large amounts of very small tigers we are seeing for sale now

well atleast with the high price tag (atleast in my area) even for IT's only educated people will buy them or really dumb people... a 2" IT costs $40 here.

blue eyed plecos used to be $40 and they were eveywere now they are hard to get everyone wants one and says they wish they could afford one
same with ST when they were cheap people were buying them yes but their is much more intrest in them now they are expencive and hard to find everyone says OOOOHI WISH I COULD FIND 2-3inch ST but if they came up for sale at $150 each some people say thats to much it makes no sence to me
