a bottle of beneficial bacteria broke in my stand once and i didn't notice until i opened it up, smelt horrible and god knows what grew

this is definately in the water and not in the stand

Maybe your dad killed the cat and hid it in your closet and the smell from there is just collecting in the water because of the frequency between the smell and the fishes heart beats.

Just one option.

Because your fish poop in it....

your tanks not cycled yet, usually after they cycle they stop smelling(may take a week after the cycling)

Do you feed Massivore? also you shouldn't have a Nitrite reading....add some Prime

Does massivore make you water stink like this? it was just one pellet

ok check your paramiters again sounds like you might have started a nother cycle or have a amonia spike on its way

Just re checked them same as last time

Looks like a mini-cycle (assuming your tank was fully cycled before).
Are you sure a fish hasn't died and is rotting away somewhere?

ok then i wuld put some prime in there to stop the amonia and nitrate prob and keep an eye oon parms as far as the one pellet thing i dont know i will keep tryen to think of things what all do you have in the tank a nd what size is it

Your nitrite and amo. should be 0.... you need to figure out why this is not at the correct numbers.... that will probably lead to your problem.....

Also you have quite a stock in your 75 gallon, if your sig is correct. You dont have enough bio media, or didn't cycle the tank. Why would you only be feeding 1 pellet....
