This dude earned it, for that I will respect him, I played football and it's a rough sport, so to be that good takes a lot of skill and A LOT of hard work. He dedicated many hours to this, which was probably his dream. Wouldn't you love to live out your dream if you've worked hard for it?
Who cares if he came from a rich family, many scholarships are given to those that don't truly need it, but since he has a famous father, he's the only one who has to take the fall?
Besides, like what's been said earlier, he helps pay for all your science classes. So instead of complaining about him maybe you should congratulate him for achieving his goal and helping the school out!
He may be a good ball player, worked hard, and mabe, probably deserved the recognition, but he still could be recognized without accepting the money. Aid of any sort should be given on an as needed basis. Think about what 50gs means to you or me going to school, and what it means to this guy. Im sorry pops making the Forbes while son is collecting aid does not fly with me. I dont think the guy could even be that great, and even if he is, so what? He lives in the bubble of being puff daddys son. Give that money to someone who has to WORK thru college.
