There you go Del... told you they die. But agreed with the other guys.. Asian aros are tough sob's Theyre not noob fish just bec noobs wont spend that much on fish. Its just sucks theyre illegal here in the us .

I once spoke to a fellow hobbyist that saved three years of his paycheck so he can purchase his very first red tail gold. When he finally bought one, he was so happy. One day he changed his water, and his fish died the next day. I wouldn't be going around telling people how I saved my hard earned money for three years, just to say that my fish died because of a water change. Not only does that make me sad, it is very embarrasing, especially to people that knows nothing about fish. Some of them would actually laugh at you for "wasting" so much cash. I've lost three asian aros since I started keeping fish (about 35 years), so I just don't keep them, and if I do get a hold of some, I would just have to "give" them away for a price
