Ok I’m sorry but that is false.
The people on this site are the minority of freshwater fish keepers, the majority of freshwater fish keepers don’t go out and have monster fish like we do. They stick with their 75 gallons with small community tanks. I would imagine that saltwater is similar except for the reefing community. The small community freshwater fish cost a lot less than the small community saltwater fish.
I’m all for being proven wrong if you can find the evidence to back up your claim.
I'm referencing this to only those type of fish keepers on this forum, Monster Fish Keepers. The vast majority of people don't keep tanks over 40 gallons. I'm aware of that. If you try to find larger tanks in the saltwater department they are few and far between and when you do happen to stumble upon them they are filled with dainty little fish that for the most part come second to the corals that are in the tank.
In the grand scheme of this topic, posted on this website, I am only speaking from a perspective related to fish keepers on this website.
Nobody on this forum keeps monster saltwater fish like they do freshwater fish.
Would like to add, this isn't intended to be one of those typical "I'm right you are wrong" I am simply a hobbyist. This is only fun until it is not.
