Been getting a little tempted by brackish recently, this Thread's full of inspiration! Are crabs generally ok with all brackish fish or are there some to avoid? Space no object, was thinking of a 'beach' area for skippers and crabs to get out going down to a larger deep area for Shark Catfish and Mono's, maybe archers or scats too. Would that work? Not 100% clued in on brackish yet.

Mudskippers are to fast and actually challenge the crab when they get to close and lunge at the crabs. Then the crabs take off running. Also, I would avoid Puffers if you want crabs, since they will be on their diet. Also the bigger mudskippers eat crabs as well. I have one of the smaller species the Indian Mudskippers.

Only seen crabs in a tanks with shallow water, not deeper areas too, and they do seem to prefer being out stood up on a rock (the ones i've seen anyway) so guessing they won't be a bother with shark cats or mono's in a deep bit?
