Why Is Everyone Selling their xbox 360's

I know atleast 5 of my friends that had to replace their original ps2's atleast 3 times before giving up on PS2. It's not just xbox 360 that crap out. Yes, Microsoft rushed the first batch of consoles and have admited their mistake thats why atleast they are fixing them for free.

As for Fedex losing your xbox thats not microsoft's problem...
 
lol any ps2 breaks... leave it on rinse it for 24hrs, let ur dog brush past it while its stood up right so it falls over to upside down position and... instant fail 80% of the time....

Ps3's online gameplay is trash. People nowadays prefer online play then just playing a game yourself. There is endless competition playing against a varied audience of competitors. I prefer a console over a do-it-all gadget. Similar to why people would not take pictures of a wedding on their phone camera, as opposed to a real camera. PS3 is a great console though, don't get me wrong I had one, but I am more of an online player than anything. But I haven't played in almost a year, just really getting out of it.
 
have had the red ring happen like three times but it was usually a loss cord otherwise never had any problems even when it fell over from upright position.
 
The ps3 is just getting started, every one was scared of the blue ray formate at first hence the bigger library of games for xbox 360, now the developers have figured it out and are not so scared of the way things have to be done so many more games will soon hit the ps3, and graphically they have not scratched the surface of what the ps3 is capable of, give it time and it will beat 360 in all aspects. Hell Micro soft is in talks with Sony to make a blue ray drive for the 360, whats that tell you?
The on-line is getting better on the ps3 but they do have some snags to work out still like I just got GTA4 on-line 10 min ago as Sony was having troubles with their Canadian severs, but a side from the miner bugs like that (which they normally fix quick) I see no real difference in on-line play between the 360 and ps3 except you have to pay for xbox live on the 360 vs just hooking the ps3 to a modem.
 
I like my 360 and I haven't had any issues with it, of course I've only had it for 6 months. My reason for getting it is because my old xbox died and I have a ton of games for it and I wanted a console that would still allow me to play my old games so the 360 is it.
 
Here's my situation. My xbox is 16 months old and just started freezing up. I call microsoft and they want $100 to fix it. Only red lighters are warrantyable for 3 years. I told them to stick it. Any suggestions other than a sale?

i agree, plus i havent seen one ps3 game i would want that isnt out on 360. plus with 360 you get all the add ons ps3 doesnt, jus look at GTA4
