Why is everything good in SoCal?

Lmfao I didn't really notice anything of any of these bans other than when I tried to see if any fish are illegal in jersey and It took me like no joke one minute of scrolling just to get past cali. That's crazy laws though!

Cali does have some really stupid fish bans. Even those little GloFish are illegal here...

Lmfao the glofish are illegal!? I have them in nj and they are at every single fish store! I wish they would ban them here! They are just colorful guppies that take up a good tank that could have some good fish in it.

I don't think everything is good in SoCal

from what I have read on these boards, their sky high water and hydro rates makes california one of the most expensive places around to be in the hobby.

prob. why so many people are selling stuff? sell your tank to pay for your last months hydro bill because your tank? :)
 
yeah, lots of banned fish but since we are the gateway to asia and eastern pacific in general we get all the stuff from there first :)
 
I hear ya man, I'm just saying be glad you're not stuck down in KY or somewhere...

And if you're a little patient, and are will to put in request, there are some nationally known fish distributors based here in NJ: SharkAquarium and Jeff Rapps to name 2.
 
I think everything is SoCal is good due to Traffic, no pollution, no gas no wait.... whats good about SoCal? I think MOST of the peeps in SoCal make SoCal-MFK seem like the place to be (hobby wise). Its not!!
