Sorry for the loss. Could it be the same reason many have loss Chinese Perches in the past. That when they reach a certain size they will require a colder environment. Everyone that I have spoken to that bought a Chinese Perch from me in the past had said that when they're perch was under 15" it seemed to be find in warmer waters, yet soon as it got bigger it just died all of a sudden? Reason they wanted to buy another so they could raise it in a colder environment.

Yep, Joey, I think that is the case. Also, I think they might prefer a little brakish water too when they get older.

Sorry, Michael for you loss, that was a very nice and rare fish. I too have had a bad run of luck with lost fish.:irked:
