I also have small tank syndrome. Haha! I went from a 10g to a 29g to a 55g to a 150g. I'm looking for a 300 now and am making plans to convert my sons room to a fish room when he moves out. Yeah, he's only 3...;)

Hes already old enough to move. Gotta learn to fend for himself eventually right?:ROFL:300 gallons are awesome. I got a deal of the century on mine. Bought it for $120. :headbang2Good luck finding one.

it is a disease.

I move we get rid of all them damn critters!!

I have this disorder much to the dismay of my wife. I cannot ell you how many times I have heard "I just want you to be happy with what you have, why do you need more and more fish and tanks?" to which I reply "......................."

$120?? that's awesome! I hope I find a deal like that.

Good luck! I saw it on craigslist and was at the guys house in 7 minutes...literally. I beat another guy there by 2 minutes. :D

i went through a small phase of this, i started with a 10 gal in july just thinking it'd be cool, moved on to a 45 in october, and bought a 75 on CL in the beginning of november. I was going to upgrade the 45 to another 75, but finally said enough is enough for an apartment. However eventually i do want a tank large enough to house a few ornates and other large bicihrs for life (considering getting an ornate and growing it out for a year or so in my 75) - and i also want a large tank for some cichla and a silver aro way down the road (ultimate goal)

i guess for me is that i like large monster fish that's between 2-3 ft long... since i already have about 20 of them (average 1ft right now)... i want them to have a home in my home.. not a prison.. so the biggest tank that i can provide is a must to ATTEMPT to provide that kind of environment... currently have a 225g, planning on having a 550g... that's the biggest i can provide without sacrificing too much space or other things.. anything bigger would be too big for 1 person to upkeep.,., especially when i have more important things to deal with like job, family, kids, bills, and other hobbies..., this is just part of my life which defines "me"... on another note, this is a hella expensive hobby and can easily be turned into obsession since there are plenty of species out there (and more new ones) that at one point we all want to keep at the same time.. hehehe

I am new to aggressive SA and CA cichlids and already I want more and more fish and getting ready to upgrade my 125 to a 240. My wife already gets mad at me and tells me to make up my mind.
