I believe the poster was referring to the general demeanor of the previous poster when he mentioned not wanting to help others. This thread has pretty much run its course...No one is going to budge from their opiniona and the posts are getting a little redundant.

In my experience, people who are so eager and open about the prices they pay are usually lying in order to hide how much they actually paid. The way you can tell who is lying is to ask them for topless pics of their wife. If they comply, they are open and honest and are most likely telling the truth. If they wont, then you know that theyre not sharing the true amount they paid.

"Wow I wish I was as rich as you"
"How much did that setup cost you? I bet it was a lot"

And on and on, one sentence replies asking nothing but dollars and cents like theyre pricing and haggling at a flea market.

So if someone posts something nice they have to have a cross to bear? Why should anyone put up with that kind of attitude? People dont share their experiences so that others can make snide comments towards them. Its just basic courtesy and civility.
