Why Is It So Taboo For Someone Telling How Much They Bought A Fish For.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
1. I'll tell anyone what I paid for my fish.

2. My wife looks great topless, even better naked!

3. I never tell my wife how much I paid for a fish.

4. I never thought about selling pics of my wife, but now you have me thinking.

I think some people might be afraid they overpaid for some fish and don't want to admit it. i'm like you though, very upfront and honest about most things, including fish and equipment! haha love the topic

Research will almost always answer the question of "value" of a certain fish. If you are really wanting one, and really want to know how much one would cost you I feel like you'd be better served by asking a vendor. Then look around to see if the price is right for you. Sometimes I feel funny about it.

I know sometimes the price is a shock to people, and Im not one that wants to crush the idea of a particular fish for someone. People will see a picture of a fish, and ask the price, even in PM, and they are thinking of a figure, then they find out that the fish cost $900. Not the $50 that they had in mind. Then they think there's something wrong with you for spending so much.

I know Im not making it very clear, but there are reasons that it bothers me when people ask. Does it seem like the price question only comes up with high dollar fish? When I kept silvers, and RTC's no one ever asked me "how much?"

I'm sure most everyone in here knows how much those fish are worth, and saving a few bucks on them by asking around really isn't worth it. When you are getting ready to buy a $200-$10,000 fish, its definitely worth it to ask around a bit. The potential saving or screwing is much bigger with a more expensive fish. Just sayin. Not everyone can afford to spend that kind of money without seeking affirmation from their peers who may know better.

:naughty: Where are the wife pics?

I have a bonsai flowerhorn, a kamfa flowerhorn, a jaguar and a black ghost knife fish, and I just got a baby ebjd. Anyone curious what I paid, I got a great deal on all of them. If anyone wants details and numbers, you know what to do.
