ive been looking to buy some moss online because my local fish stores dont have much for plants, every where i see only golf ball size pieces for like 6.00, just seems like alot.
why is java moss so expensive?

A golf ball size piece will spread out to cover the bottom of a 10 gallon,or cover a descent size piece of drift wood. 6 bucks is a little high,but not outrageous.
yeah ship away. lol. does it really cover that much? a 10 gallon bottom? does it grow slow or quick? it attches to the rocks? thanks for info and offers
depending on the tank will depend on how fast it grows. $6 isnt too much for a lfs. think about cherry shrimp often you can get them for $1 each online but lfs 3-8 each. lfs have a lot of over head so you expect to pay more.
