Why is My Armatus Shedding It's Slime Coat?

AAAHHHH Sorry to hear about the news man!! Sucks big time.

It's dead guess I shoulda looked at it before posting this. I am a bad fishkeeper, I think ...lots of stupid things I still do. Guess I wasn't supposed to have an armatus

Umm what do you think you did wrong? What would you do different? What size tank was it in? Just wondering Im not judging. Will you be getting another one?

I should have been paying more attention and noticed the balas picking on it. It seems like it all happened over the course of one day, though since I checked on it every morning before work and then turned on the lights when I got home and check on it every night (except for the day i got the azul and had all of the problems with that). It was in a standard 75 gallon...plenty for a 6"er.

I can't afford another right now...probably not for a long time...have to pay off my credit card debt. If I would've known before I ordered the tigs, I probably would have ordered one from Mike with the tigs, but my cc is on freeze now.

Damn I'm sorry to hear that Paul. It seems that when bad things happen they always happen in groups. Just curious as to if you have tested all your water parameters since this has happened. When I lived in Aurora, there were certain times every year when the water was absolutely FUBAR coming out of the tap. Had bunches of trouble with that when I kept tropheus.
