why is my bichir not aggressive

+1 back when i used to use feeders the poor guy I had just ambushed nothing, and swam into all my other fish accidently. At least he liked pellets

nevermind dumb question i asked hes getting a little more aggressive i have cichlids and just want him to stand up for himself

IMO, cichlids and bichirs are bad tankmates since the cichlids will harass the bichir.

Standing up in what way? I've kept bichirs with various species of cichlids without having issues, but I would never say I ever saw one 'stand up' to the cichlids

by standing up i man my dovii was about to launch at him then he started swimming up to him and scared him away

Your dovii will probalbly kill the bichirs. Doviis are dang aggresive fish!
