Ohhh, Mr. TOYT winner has graced his presence in my thread.

Listen ponch, I purchased that Convict when he was not even two inches. He had nice dark color and the fin was a lot smaller and harder to differentiate. I wasn't looking for a slightly misaligned caudal fin.

I think you need to step outside in the real world and get a girlfriend. Sitting in your parents basement eating Cheetos while doing water changes must be some life.

Feeble personal attacks aside, picking out fish at around 2" or slightly less is still a size that will easily indicate deformities in both the top and bottom caudal hard rays. How do you think people pick out quality Apistogramma species?

It's not slightly misaligned, and having to even ask what's wrong with the tail and then acting surprised and distraught when you're told it's deformed is a brutally clear indicator that you're an inexperienced fishkeeper.

If you want to troll though that's fine, I'm more than happy to deal it back to a seventeen year old fish-keeping plebeian who can't spot deformities on his quest for world-class specimens.

LMFAO....

Theres no need for that kind of talk on the forum mate, maybe you should take the advice given to you and look for another convict if your not happy with the one you have.

You came here suspecting that you had a deformed fish. People agreed that you did infact have a deformed fish and now you're mad at them? You raise "world class" fish by becoming a world class fishkeeper, not throwing childish insults at one. Being more mature and more knowledgable than you does not make someone a nerd. Speaking of the real world, how is that attitude working out for you out there?
