Thats about it for me to...yeah. Big fish have personality....neons just arnt owner responsive they just kind of swim and eat their flakes. Wheras a Pacu with swim...eat anything that hits the water....and know when its owner is in the room and acknowledge that by beating down the front tank glass and splashing a tidle wave of water onto the floor wanting fed....thats better than looking at ya.

Hell my cat weighs more than most peoples dog, and my dog is 150lbs:headbang2

I keep Monsterfish for the personality factor ... I enjoy being greated at the front of the tank every time I come into the room .... It's also impressive to people that don't know fish to see a large monster when they walk in the house, I like to see people's reactions.

I agree to what most of you guys have have said..
The personality factor is just way bigger in a monster than a guppy!

to fullfill a hole inside my heart...

the killing desire.....

power adoration, etc....

wakakakkakakak........

I keep monster fish because they are the only living things in my house that don't talk back, and I just don't think a guppy could console me the way a large catfish can.

Monster fish have personality. They're like dogs, but you don't have to worry about them barking & peeing all over the house.

Because I want a pet that can remove fingers or other body parts, like a whole hand.
