All my fish that pushed me further were all accedents. My first fish was a 4.5" yoyo loach, I kept it with a couple danios and a few platys and swords. I got a show quality royal blue(I MEAN IT!!!!, best you would ever see, have to dig out pics), the bastered was AGRESSIVE, but my favorate, livebearers disappeared. Then an7" electric catfish that had been at the store for longer than all the employees, for $50. they wan'ted it gone so i got it for $10. MY FAVORATE FISH OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!!!! he forced me to get large fish that it could'nt eat. thats when I got synodontis cats. then after i lost the cray and the cat, my fish where still ssemi aggressive and larger, and I didn't want to get rid of them all. then came the parrot. I never wanted a parrot because they were like $50 for 2" ones. I go to a petco in licon. In a tank with 6 5" oscars, all the oscars wouldn't even go near one half of the tank, and of a giant cave came out the biggest parrot I had seen(at the time). I ask how much, they say its free for adoption, I say HELL YES. A year later the filters crap out for the weekend and I was gone, I come home to a dead parrot and a very nice 6" green sevrum dead. That same week, the lfs got in a giant parrot by mistake, they didn't want it and gave to me for $20, thats the parrot i have know, you get the rest from their

"monster doesn't always mean big. you can shout for jaw droping fish without the big ass tank. e-cats, bechers, i am to tired to list more. but if what you are debating it price, then get a cheap polyerethane giant tub. they are fish safe, and very enexpensive. i know you want to see your fish, but sime fish, like stingray, are beter neiwed from the top. I think i might get one myself. GTare very popular around here. I take a few 2" $10 ones, toss em in a tub with a few hundred gallons, and wait a couple monthes, take the 5-8" beutys and sell em for $80

i started with community fish, but they got boaring fast. i got a 12in clown knife that i have had for almost a year now, and he is awsome. iQUOTE]

Is the clown knife in the tank alone, im thinking of getting one myself but i have a few polypterus in the tank at the moment.

Many reasons for ]\/[onster fishes....For a lot of keepers, raising illegal monsters is a constant thrill everytime they are around their tanks...It's like bungee jumping or sky diving....It's BAD ASS....It's fengshui with BALLS.....Try meditating in front of a tank of p's, you'll end up sleeping, knowing that some killers are swimmig about gaurding your aura....Plus, it's an advancement moving up to monsters....Like many, I started with goldfish at a very young age....Now I'm breeding species that have a reputation of castratng cattle in South America...How cool is that that---->BAD ASS COOL.....

why not?!?!?:D

monster angel: lego blockominan is its scientific name lol. just about the one of the bigest ive seen, not saying that there arnt biger ones. he/she is about 6.5in from bottom fin to top. the only ones ive seen bigger are some breeders someone brought in to the LFS for boarding. they had to be pushing 9in from bottom fin to the top fin

no. he is in a monster communtiy tank. in that tank ive seemed to had alot of luck with personalitys, cuz he is in with about a 5in clown and he could easly eat em, but they seem to be best of friends. i have had polys in with my CK and he haent bothered him, it was the arrow head puffer that realy did him in... got him off some guy for free, and i realy wasent exp.ed with puffers, and i thought that it was like any other fish, you could put him in with fish he couldend swallow. un-benounced to my knowing they have 2 teeth, one on the bottom and one on the top.
