Why does it seems that people prefer, the IT over the NTT, but yet, the NTT typically have more consistence strip/marking patterns, yet IT stripes are all over the place, in fact are there any perfect strip/marking IT out there? All the ones I see seem to have odd strip patterns, plus there is not the much difference in size.. Just curious...

I guess people just think the thicker bars are more appealing. While the majority of ITs do have imperfect bars, there are a lot with near perfect bars. A while back when I had an NGT and an IT, I found NTTs unappealing. After seeing some big ones on here, I might like them even more than ITs.

There are plenty of classic ITs out there. I wouldn't say people prefer ITs over the NTT. I think it has a lot to do with ITs being more common, cheaper, and easier to care for than NTTs

i have both.. 10" NTT and 12" IT fairly good size... i have other ITs and one more NTT as well but smaller.. i do prefer IT.. when stable, ITs are more eyecatchy than NTTs.., a guy who's not dats even told me that my ITs are better looking than another guys' NTT

I think it's also because IT's are hardier fish... NTT's have a lovely under 7-8" horrible sudden death rate...

Agreed.I have a fairly recent NTT pick up and I willl admit that I am a little fearful of losing it.

some people dig oddballs over normal ones which is prevalent in IT. then there is this thing called SDS which is mainly present only on NTT's. you don't want your money go to waste with no apparent reason do you?

To late, I just p/u to NTT and I don't like the way this is turning out already. One is not stable and very skittish. Unlike my three smaller IT's I add four days ago started eating righaway
