A pike and a trout, just as you had said. Wow. I've never known it happens in the wild and to other species.

Prob comes down to a certain gene... the consistency of the deformation between completly diff. species is pretty remarkable.

This is my shovelnose Tigger. He’s been like this since day one. Cutest thing ever!! No issues breathing, eating, swimming etc. I thought he just rammed into the glass but come to find out this is actually a thing for these shovelnoses. I have another shovelnose with no camel deformity and they play together just fine. My other fish don’t mess with him at all which is shocking but good. I think they know he’s different.
