if you have a surplus than scoop some out after she goes out, or goes to work. I doubt she will miss a few here and a few there. plus if there breeding like rabbits than she def. won't notice.
roflmao.. seriousely though.. my husband respects my tanks.. and I respect his.. and we "share" a tank.. Granted all the tanks where originally mine... But what better way to get my husband to Okay bigger tanks then to get him hooked on the hobby?
As a female.. I suggest negotiations are at hand.. tell her you want this size tank.. and it will be for feeders... no ifs ands or buts.. and ask what her demands are... Don't forget alot of "Yes dears" and "I love yous" .
