My wife and I had a fight last night. I thought it was resolved... I was wrong. When I went to work this morning, she poured bleach and laundry detergent into my 55gal. She manged to wipe out my oscar, Jack Dempsies, firemouth and two plecos. I really loved these fish and it hasn't really hit me yet that they're gone. I couldn't even net them out. I had a friend do it. Am I overreacting? What should I do?

That's wrong and you should dump her. what next, she might get mad and do it to you. Better off ending it before she really get mad and does something else even worse. Sorry for the loss.....

ok **** what i need to do is first POST EVERY COMMENT ON THIS MOFO EVERYWHERE AROUND HER in a small dark room and give her only a candle to read it word by word and when she pleads to get out throw her in a tank full of starving vicious piranha well thats what id do......guess im a but twisted too..

Studies have proven that the majority of mass-murdering sociopaths have one thing in common: They've all abused, tortured, and killed anilmals before moving on to humans. Time to bail on that relationship or hire a bodyguard.
dang it iknew i should haev read every page 1st

What was the argument over ?

I've heard of this sort of nasty stuff before. A woman on a pond forum I go to had her ex-husband dump a barrel of motor oil in her pond.

I would run while the running's good. If she decides to charge at you at any point even if you are only being defensive and leave one mark on her you can get sent to jail. It's not too uncommon a tactic either.

If you leave and need anything get it with police escort or at least have several witnesses come along.

You gotta have a serious talk with your wife. Thats not the way to solve disputes.
I agree. Someone resents the time/money you spend on your hobby I think.
In reaction to what she did I think she should replace your fish.
With whatever type of fish you choose, regardless of cost.
just my 2 cents.
Eric

put ben-*** on all her toys and/or hobbies
