This is promising,elongated shape can only mean good things............lucky duck!

At the very worst they will turn out to be shad and we will use them as feeders. I'm really hoping they turn out to be something cool though!

If they were shad they would likely be dead by now, shad are very difficult to care for.

Sunfish fry at that size have an elongated shape. I am going to put my money on bluegill fry.

I think they are too small to be eating mosquito larvae. Right now they are 1/4"-3/8" long. I'll take pics right now and try posting them but I think it is going to be very difficult. I too think if they were shad they would be dead right now.

I hope I can keep these things alive so we can find out for sure. So far it appears as though we haven't lost any.
