Wild caught silver arowanas! YAY

Today I picked up 2 5" Wild caught arowanas from Infinite Aquatics. There are very healthy. They are even already eating hikari pellets. They eat like pigs and are sooo cute! . I was even told that since they are wild caught, they will not have drop eye. This is because they did not have the defects that arowanas from breeding farms get!

Also the drop eye from farms is an scientifically proven fact. Its a myth as some would say. Wilds can still get it.

True....most arowana's like silvers and blacks are wild caught.....silvers will eventually develop droop eye unless it is in a pond....there are too many variations on why it happens....but its a fact....mine got it around 12 inches....still looks stunning to me....

I would recommend to put in an odd number....3 would likely work.....I know that 2 is usually a bad idea.....depending on tank size, but even an 8x3x3 might still be too small and cause territory disputes.....anyhow, good luck and congrats! I will be looking forward to see the pix.
