Please tell me I didnt see koi with your silvers!?!?! Do you have a heater in the tank? Smaller silvers do better with a heater. Koi are cold water fish and need cooler temps. I would recommend seperating them and throwing the koi in a pond. Also, might wanna keep an eye on the koi. Silvers that size can become a meal or lose their eyes to the koi.
There is heat. The koi was just there temporarily so that I would be able to clean their tanks

I was even told that since they are wild caught, they will not have drop eye. This is because they did not have the defects that arowanas from breeding farms get!

there is no guarantee that your silvers will not develope drop eye wild caught or not. have you ever seen that National Geographic special about the fishes of the Amazon? those wild silvers were huge but also had drop eye!

I know that, which is why im going to try to provide the best environment possible for them.

Nice pickup. RKC's price on those wild caught arro is unbelievable. I couldn't resist and picked up one too. This is my first arro so I don't know much about silver arro care other than it's a top swimmer, aggressive feeder, and need 80F temp water.
