pretty much agree with most of what was said. wild caught are usually more aggressive and much more vibrant. Ive also found that my wild caught oscars grow bigger and have unusually large teeth for an oscar. but then again a cichlid is a cichlid, i keep my male festae, wild oscar and wild red tiger with captive bred cichlids, just make sure u have the room for them also dithers will help.

I agree with the survival of the fittest thing, makes sense that a wilcaught should be more aggressive.
I only have 1 wildcaught fish and that's a Green Terror, but he is getting his butt kicked by a tankraised GT.
His colors are superb though, and he is starting to grow a nice hump.
