Hm, fascinating! Thanks for all the pictures - the orinoco ones and wild caught peru are very interesting indeed - really beautiful fish! The website with a whole bunch of types and photos is really helpful too.
And haha, I wish I lived somewhere I could just fish up awesome cichlids. Nice fish there.

and that O that boy caught down in florida looked amazing as well, didnt have much body color but loved that it had 3 BRIGHT eye spots on it, dont see that too often

Lovin' it! That's one smooth-looking Oscar. Those dorsal eyespots are neatly muddled into a picasso-like swirl of darkness and fire.
I'd have to say your comment is quite smooth also
