Anyone have a website where I can learn about the differences of PBass? Such as mono/ocel/tel, etc.

check out this website

Ok all, I got these little strip tests things. This is what it said.

Nitrate color was between 20 and 40, which said it was safe.
Nitrite color was just slightly off white, between 0 and less than .5, which is safe.
Hardness color was at 300, "Very hard"
Alkalinity color was at 300, "High"
pH color was at 8.4 or slightly less

Should hardness/alkalinity/pH be high? Doesn't say if low or high is safe.

Oh yea, I put more guppies in today and thank god they started striking and eating as soon as I dropped them in, I assume. It was too fast to tell.

everyone else seemed to answer your other question for me. as for these question

first start off with raising your water temp to about 84 and then to 87 a few day after that.

nitrates between 20 and 40 isnt good at all.. you need to straighten that out with water changes and Prime.

hardwater is not good for cichla since they are extrmely soft water fish. add black water or cattappa leaves.

8.4 is super high bradda. do you have crushed coral or marine sand in your tank? if so get rid of it.. ph should be no higher then 7 tops. you may want to aim more in the acidic rang... the 6s.. i have kept so old wild cichla in ph as low as 5.2.. dont use ph down or any other chemicals to alter your water quality.. dont use ph down

when you find out when u can ship them let me kno cus ill grab at least 1 off u, also have u been able to id them or still to young to tell?

I'll be going netting down here soon too. I'll let everyone know what I get and what I'm doing with it when I go. Not looking to keep anything I get except maybe 1 pbass. I'll post pics and such up also. I will be willing to ship, as long as the purchaser realizes that I have never shipped before. I've been in the hobby for almost 20 years, but never had to ship anything. The fish will be free, but you gotta pay the shipping. Message me if you're interested.

Ok, how do I lower the nitrate, hardness and ph? Please let me know what to ask for at the LFS. I will ship when they are eating normally and healthy.

Also, the tank is smelling a bit fishy, is this normal? I dont think I got an answer as to how often and how much do I feed them?

There are 16 fry to be exact, in a 20 or 30 gallon long, im not sure what it is.
Then I moved all the guppies into the 10 gallon tank, I dont want them swimming around the fry not getting eaten.
