Wild population of Midas cichlids located in south Florida!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My rough math has it at about 2,000 gallons.

I wasn't going to include this photo. But the interest has been minimal.
This phot is from about 100 yards from where I got my 2 from.
I tossed in what was left of my bait.
Those are NOT leaves in the water......

I sent you a P.M.
Happy fishing.

You'll want to catch them all. But just take what you have the fish tank space for.
There are yellow and pink with the orange ones. Good luck!

"Living wild" would be a better term then.
Im thinking about adding them to my new pond.
Its 3 feet deep. 7 feet across and 13 feet long.
Maybe I can do like five of them in there?

I would say you could do a lot more than 5. I have 8 in a 900 gallon pond in my backyard along with a few other smaller ca/sa growouts. Two breeding pair and calm enough that I was able to throw in 9 umbee growouts from 1 to 3 inches the other day without any issues. (Knock on wood. Lol)
