wild silver arowana

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Most of the time when I buy wild fish specially rays they come bigger then cb rays. Just my imagination but kinda hard to catch a lil guy lik that In the wild . Were all the aros I'n that tank same size?

they had only 2 aros of the wild kind, they were all in seperated tank, they keep jardini/african aro/lei that way. they keep farmed silver all together in the same tank.

Nice silver, but the colours are the same of all silvers at that age. Any way good luck with it, and wish you all the best :D

ty,its eat dried blood worms like there's. Will be the end of the worlds in 2012 LOL
We decided its she and my daughter and wife dicided her name is poppy, she lives comfortable live in my old tank with baby chiclids, full grown mollies and 3 african frogs.
Yes its pretty much look like any regular silver execpt she born in the wild

I have one of those gut feelings that you just described yourself...

Pls listen to the advice posted by the guys on here, they're only trying to help you.

No offense and none taken, these people I mean here r not the helpful one more like keyboard warriors
Yes a lot of members here r helpfull, they usually who aren't a repeaters or mockers, and they just want to be helpful and give their input and don't care if the input is taken or tossed, unlike these guys
Maybe I built my very own grupies here in mfk LOL

dont worry about it, yes i am a noob keeping an aro for myself

Newbie or noob is a slang term for a novice or newcomer, or somebody inexperienced in any profession or activity

because it is i feel i can afford atleast one now to have them comfortable and healthy.

So are you a newbie or a pro? Decide
Or just a pro at being a newbie

hmm i own a wild and a farmed, the difference from what ive seen and heard are that the wilds are more redder then a farmed silver, meaning their fins and scales tend to have more red on them, and i dont know about them being more sensitive. with the blacks they are only sensitive when babys but when they hit 8-10in their less sensitive, just my 2 cents

Lol, it's just a farmed Aro.
But nothing ANYONE says will change this delusioned mind.
Best not to feed the troll at the end of the day, I think he gets kicks out of it.

Enjoy your Aro Dayak, all hell WILL break loose when you decide to introduce it into a (already too small) tank with a larger 2nd Aro.

... But you won't listen, so on your head be it!

ah i c, from the place i got the wild has darker color and yellowish dorsal fins with black stripping fins while those bunch of farmed one r lighter with grey dorsals and pinkish fin stripping. other than that they do look almost identical
on the pic i posted it has reddish hue to it that i did not see with actual eyes, my farmed one i got was about 4-5 inch when i got him so i cant compare with my own at this time around.
