ok its farmed aro i admit it just for u :naughty:
when he grew up to 20 feet i will put it in my 10G tank again just for u

This being what I meant before by the childish replies you give.
You say you are married with children? You sure?

It is really funny for the rest of us how you convince yourself that your plain old farm bred Silver is "wild".
They saw you coming a mile off! LOL

Here is a question for you:

This pic, WC or CB: (and state why)

Same question goes for this one:

They all all silver dunno which is which, but I know mine is wild cought and I will tell u the different as she progress on

can't this guy just be banned already..? look at the crap he causes with every thread he posts.

why go though all the trouble?

or maybe people should just stop replying to his nonsense..

^ srsly. i smell a troll.

on the other hand, I've kept 20 baby silver aros (got em at a good price) in a 125 and grew em all out to 6-8" and sold em for 5x the cost :naughty:
call it JDM? hahaha

the mollies i have were breding, saw atleast 4 tiny baby fish in the same tank with the wild aro!!
i hope the aro dont see it as food, but if is..be it, i am cool with it :)
they all getting along sometimes i c my chichlids fighting for their territory with the mollies but none of them messing with the aro yet..so again its all good

Haha, Dayak is OK.
He is delusional, and won't listen to good advice/opinions but as a person, i think he is harmless. (maybe not to the fish though...)

I hope he doesn't get banned, as if anything there is entertainment value in his threads and if he wasn't here, no one would be able to tell him "No Dayak, an Arapaima won't fit in your 4ft tank" and he would just go out and do something like that!

I do wonder about his age though, as he says he is married with kids, and with all due respect, a lot of his replies sound like something that comes out of my 9yr olds mouth when she doesn't get her way!

Anyway Dayak, don't take everything personal, I can't speak for others, but I hold no bad will to you as a person.

To answer my question on the pictures i posted, both are CB (farmed) Silver Arowana. (¥800/ $7-10us each from Rakuten)
And they both hold the "traits" you seem to think come with WC!!!

Enjoy your fish, and try listening to some of the advice given.

Cheers, TG

no worry i never take anything personal especially from you tokyo i pretty much know your trait and others who share the same interest as you, its all fun entertainment to me, but i know what i am doing everything is good and under control, my growing up aro which is currently 12 inch is my prove in this forum.
i did not say which is the wc and cb, because im well know that and and u try to make a troll out of me LOL
and the fact is they do change color under different lightning, one thing i know mine is wild, then again they all silver arowana r the same wheather its wild or captive bred, no gene mutation there.
i am very interested on the wils especially i noticed is just different and draw my luck out of "bad gene" but i can tell from them a part at a glance if its wild not captive and my LFS knows it is, just like human or animal, where they were what makes them. and it shows in their behaviour.

and yes i am enjoying keeping my fish otherwise i would just flush them down the drain, you dont need to tell me that and i will ofcourse listen to sounds advice thats make sense and i never try before.

Best advise to follow. Sad part is other newbies reading it and following, but oh well this is what the aro forum has come too :thumbsdow. Guarantee you would not have seen volumes 1 thru 4 of the "Noob" in the gar or probably any other forum
