I was reading some old threads that were debating which were the largest new world cichlids, and of course peacock bass, dovii, and umbie always hit the top of the list. But why is it that there are tons of fishing photos of the peacock bass and dovii, but next to none of the umbie?

Anyhow, after searching around for a bit, I found some sort of fishing message board in spanish of people catching umbie's. Really wish I knew how to speak spanish. Would be an interesting read. But at least you can see the pics:

Boulengerochromis will eat a Cichla easily. I have a baby that's only 2 feet. Ken

 Care to share pics? I would love to see a 2ft emperor. I've also heard of emperors killing pbass as tankmates in some cases.
