Wilds arrived in rough shape

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
healthy fish will make it,, just really good tank maintenance and some salt should do.
ive had a lot of discus shipped and unfortunately this is what happens with extremely stressed fish. sometimes its the next day and sometimes its 2-3 days but if its healthy and clean water they should make it

Here is the one in really bad shape. Ammonia burn caused some open lesions and it's tail is all messed up.
If I mix methylene blue with the metro and prazi, will I have a problem?

I wouldn't add mb to the tank. You should use it as a dip on the worse off ones maybe. I'd seek advice from a guru.

I have nothing to add, hope they pull through, but...

Why the hell are such nice fish on the bottom rack!?

Charney gave s ok me tips and advice in the disease section. I think j have a good course of action to follow and hopefully, this guy will make it.

Usually if they come around initially, they will be ok. Well especially in your hands ;)

A few weeks ago a buddy sent me a box of discus. He accidentally put two of them in the same bag (said "that's why I had an extra bag!" When I told him, lol). One of the two lost almost all the fins and was practically dead. It was horizontal for a few days, but now I can't even tell which one it is in the group. Clean water, lower temperature and keep an eye on infections.
