new2natives;2393397; said:(and they are in fact sterlets, not white sturgeon
E_americanus;2393816; said:what is the species of your sterlets as that is not a species but a common name applied to a group of acipenserid fishes?

they have White sturgeon and Sterlets as different species?
new2natives;2397365; said:ok by "little white sturgeon" i took that to mean Acipenser transmontanus.
that is not what i have, and thats what i was trying to say. i had one in the past, and so i knew that the 2 i now have ARE sterlets, not "White sturgeon".
i guess i will just go back to my doorknob humping
