ok by "little white sturgeon" i took that to mean Acipenser transmontanus.

that is not what i have, and thats what i was trying to say. i had one in the past, and so i knew that the 2 i now have ARE sterlets, not "White sturgeon".

i guess i will just go back to my doorknob humping

(again) this is why i included the scientific name when i first mentioned it...please read posts thoroughly and confusion can be avoided. and (again) sterlets are not necessarily referring to just one species of sturgeon, and once again this is why the inclusion of scientific names when describing your fish (if it's not abundantly clear to the reader) will help avoid confusion.--

anyway bad answer i know but depends on the fish
mine used too attack feeders to big for him to eat (hard to find any too big now at my local lfs) kill them and let them float around
