WILL A JAR AND LAOCHES WORK?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
So....

It looks like people WITH Jardinis and loaches say there has been no problems, no matter the size of the fish.

And it looks like all the people that say NOT to do it are speaking hypothetically. And aren't speaking from experience.

You decide who to listen to... =p

I simply made a value assessment. I didn't say it definetly won't work and I definitely didn't say not to try it if he wants to, just warning about the possible consequences. If you want to risk having a predator that regularly eats fish of the same size that you want to put in with it, go ahead. There is certainly less risk of a fish that occupies a different level and hides than of a smaller barb or something like that. Besides that, jars are known to kill tankmates, otherwise we wouldn't have the sticky with all those experiences warning about the risks. It's always a risk putting a jar in with anything and once CL's get a little larger, they're worth quite a bit...that's all I'm saying.
