He eats them then spits them out. I've been feeding him tilapia and shrimp stuffed with pellets since I got him. Thought he would be used to the taste of pellets so that why I'm trying pellets only diet but he will take them. He is still looking good still look stocky. He started to kill everything in the tank once I started to starve him, right now one Pleco is left along with Jack Dempsey. I'm about to throw in the towel.
