reformatting my filtration for my 67gal
will the xp3 be enough for it or should i add to it?
also planing on running a uv sterilizer off the xp3
any opinions on a suitable uv unit would be nice
cheers
They called them 110s, for 110 gallons but you are probably more accurate, maybe a moderately stocked 150 or so, but even 125 that's more than double the size of my tank!
yeah, manufacturerers always overrate their filters. hell, even an XP3 is rated for up to a 175g, but I don't think anyone would try putting a lone XP3 on a tank that size and expect it to do a great job. unless its empty
I think Rena has earned the right to be given credit. there solid filters, for your 67 it will be great, I dont see the need to add any other filter(s) unless its just for precaution incase of falure, which I also dont see happening, mine was excellent
