Will bala sharks go well with pacu fish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I got them off of craigslist because he said they were to big for his aquarium, and they could grow for sometime in my aquarium before I am going to have to let go. How the guy got them before me I have no idea, but they did have mouth rot and since I take such great care of them, they no longer have it. You can see my videos up on youtube here's a link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oil4nxxhiew

it's doesn't matter if you take good care of them when you're gonna give them to the zoo or Aquarium because many zoo and aquarium stop accepting fish from people like you.
Around my area, Dallas world Aquarium have the biggest tank and also have the biggest captive pacu in the world. They has stop taking fish from people that have no clue what they are getting when they buy the fish or just too ignorant to care. Their 200k gallon tank is now pretty crowded with the ridiculous amount of pacu and RTC. The tank don't even look as good as a few years ago due to so many pacu and RTC. They even attack the ducks swimming on top of the tank as part of the amazon exhibit. The RTC swallowed the small ducks that fit their mouth and also ate all the small fish in the tank(peacock pass, niger catfish), the pacus started attack the ducks wen they're hungry.
Zoo and aquarium in the U.S are pretty much full of pacu and RTC in their amazon display now that donate your fish when they get too big is not an option anymore.

Dude, he tricked you into getting his fish so he don't have to deal with rehoming them and you're stuck with the pacus.

The guy said he had them in a plastic barrel for nearly 3 days:WHOA: and he was trying to get rid of the because he was afraid they were going to die, He told me he restocked his aquarium that is why he was letting them go. Yeah I feel like I got the bad end of the deal because now I can't keep a fish until they die and consider them a long term pet. I wanted "A" flower horn fish but got stuck with the pacu'(s) I have two of them. They got about a year before they need a new home and they would make great fish for somebody with a pond, or large aquarium. I will have tell you what pacus have a lot of character and that is awesome.

The reason I asked if the bala sharks go well with the pacu, is because I wanted to know if I just get one bala shark it would make aquarium more of aquarium, The fish make me feel I am taking care of two small dogs lol because that is there personality, they are much like oscar fish. But yeah I had been out of hobby for sometime because of my health and now I back in and trying my best to re learn some things I may have forgotton which was the little things that you just happen to forget, I have raised batches of fry from mother and father, had more aquariums then I could count probably like every other member up on monsterfishkeeper.com I just sent a friend request

Your gonna have to face, that you might have to put them Down when they outgrow, for the sake of... dont stunt them. Its alot better to put them Down, than to let their organs outgrow their bodyes... I've heard pacus eact everything.

LOL. We need more of those fireman in the hands of crimnals and all-around-dumba$$es
