Will GT tail grow back (pics)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
im keepin him, i mean i saved him while he was being eaten. just worried about the future at this point. ill figure it out when the time comes.

im actualy impressed with his personality. hes got more personality then most of my fish, and acts like nothing happend. so yea thanks for everything and we'll see how it goes.

It will be a unique fish when it heals and gets bigger. The 60 hex would be perfect for him, since it's not going to need the large footprint to swim around as much. I had a couple crays with some fish back in the day, and had a clown knife get cut in half. Unpredictable suckers, but cool. Keep us updated on the terror though.

lets hope it grows back

Keep us updated I hope he pulls through.

The fish will survive with clean water. The tail probably won't be the same. Send the cray to the glue factory. They are nothing but trouble. If you keep him with your fish, this wont be the last time this happens.

Once mine had lost half of his(male GT) but recovered. It took 3-4 months to get recovered. What I did was put some almond leaves into the tank.I know almond leaves make damaged fins and tails recover quickly and feed plenty of live foods daily. But in your case I am not sure whether your fish could get recovered or not.I doubt it.
