BRO ??!!!!
are you a man now w.w. ?
no wonder you changed your avatar!:naughty:

LOL. Yeah... I wanted to surprise everyone at the next SoCal meet sporting my goatee! I can't believe the surprise is ruined!!!:ROFL::ROFL:

Actually, I change the avatar cause eventually I get tired of being assumed to be a guy. It's totally understandable that people do just because the numbers here, along with my non-gender specific screen name. Usually, the assumption would be correct, so I do not fault anyone who makes the assumption. However, then when I put a photo back up of me, I start to get creeps PM'ing me after a little while so I pull it down. I'm sure a picture of me will go up in the next couple months, and come down after a couple more. Just how it goes! (although I have yet to know what people think about the pink signature and the quote about my cats while assuming I'm a guy. I'm guessing they don't think about it or the thoughts are pretty funny.)

If your 180 has a plastic trim brace, then you will be fine to leave it as is. There are numerous instances where tanks have been unsupported across the span and been fine. I would just keep my out for any shifting or real sagging, but you should be fine.

Plastic trim all the way around. :)

I think you will be OK, but then again, it is no guarantee. Just go with what you feel comfortable with.

I'm still going to throw some metal bracing on the backside of the front 4x4, if only for peace of mind. The wood is still a little green so this worried me even more. I think some strong metal bracing behind the front will take care of enough of the sagging. However, if it starts to keep me up at night, I might even entertain putting a temporary center brace in the front while the wood dries out a little more.

Edit: Getting your opinion on it makes me feel a little better about possibly just doing the metal bracing.

Look like you have mad skill bro.I think I would have double up 2x6s thew or you could put a piece of 3'' angle iron on the back side of the front support that would hold for sure. You are probably ok but to be safe I would. You have a lot to lose if it fails

I agree. ^

In was going to say add a 3.5" x 3" piece of steel on the back side of the 4x4.

We are looking for a place where we can find 3" x 3" x 3/16" in about a 6' length.

Another thought,

Toe in a couple cross braces, 2x4 would be fine to keep the 4x4 from twisting, and if you are going to skin the front with plywood just use a good glue, and screw it to the 4x4 giving it a good 6".. Should help to keep it from sagging since there is not going to be any more weight in the middle than elsewhere.

By the way that is some mad skills you got. Great work.
