Someone donated an alligator gar, we had it in a small pond. Someone bought it today and put it in a 55. Fish was 13" or so. I warned against it. It was not my sale, so I couldn't do anything about it.
Another customer brought back an African Cichlid today. And I quote: "All of my other fish are fine. It wouldn't eat and I know there was aggression but it's got ick and my water is perfect. Your water has diseases."
He got nothing. GTFO, D-bag. I can't even imagine how many fish are sent to their doom in the hands of these people. Job is not as rewarding as I thought. At least I am learning things, but the things I already knew such as the general public being morons are really starting to get to me.

She actually got upset at me after I asked if she wanted to look at the filters we carried to identify it she said, "why do you fricken people always do this? I just want to know what fricken pad goes for my 20 gallon tank." You know what I did? I punched her in her mouth and she flew through our 125 gallon display tank.
