he looks to be doing alot better, ive been doing 15% water changes everyday and adding salt. heater is at about 85 with lots of air. i havent fed her for 2-3 days should i keep it up or try to feed her?

this is a female flowerhorn right? anyone know her value? i think i have to post her for sale after she heals.. i dont want to put her back in the tank to get beat up again.

Not sure how much you'd get for it since it will heal with scars. You might want to try feeding- not in excess, but enough to keep her well nourished.

salt+melafix+pimafix+his own hospital tank+warm, clean water and he will be fine in no time :)

i use marcyn to treat wounds but this one isnt that bad ive seen dont overtreat cause it stresses him more.... if he dies it would be due to disease or stress.... limit him to six hours of light and dont disturb him ..... feed lots of vegetable matter so he wont get bined up....

don't feed her yet... is she moving around the tank or sits in a corner? I would just hold off on the feeding a few more days...but it depends on the situation...howz the wound looked like now?...if everything seems to move forward...you probably can feed fer...BUT DON'T OVER FEED...just a little bit...continue to do water change and compensate the meds + salt ...

the fish is probably a female...can't judge much while she is still stress...have any b4 the injury pix?

nope.. my coworker gave her to us and 2 days later she was bit and kept hiding in one of the boats.. i'll snap some pictures of her right now so you guys can tell me if she is doing better.. most of that white crap came off though.

i noticed.. she is just sitting at the bottom of the tank now.. is that a bad thing? i havent fed her for about a week.. i tried to put a pellet in there and she didnt go after it..

I would almost start to think of a way to "patch" it up or something. It looks like it may be fatal.
