Lmao tempting bro, I think I'm going to change his diet from tilapia an carni sticks to some tuna, salmon, and still feed him the carni sticks. Tuna and salmon are a bit more fattier.

Also Kels take their time to grow out, along with Orinos.
No where as fast as Tems, Pinimas, or Azuls that I know can reach a 12" mark by the end of the first year.

Kels are slow growers, I have one and its at the 12" possibly more and it hasnt been a year yet. 1 month to go to be exact. But pins, tems, azuls pass 12" wayy quicker than a year, I have a tem from jacunaba which I think he got in july of last year, amd this tem is 13/14" and he still has 4 more months or so till hes a year haha.

I have a Rio Negro Tem, he's about a year an half old, and he's like 16" but he's thick though.

Here you go. Havent measured but keep in mind, the tile in there 12x12" so u can kinda tell hes appx 12"

The kels were about 4" and i put them with my tems at about 5". Everything seemed to be fine they werent fighting too bad but the kels werent off live and i couldnt get them to eat earthworms or shrimp. The kels were getting rely skinny so i moved the tems to a different tank and then the kels started eating earthworms right away. Looks like the tems werent letting them eat. Dosnt look like the combo is going to work now, the tems are already like 6" lol
