Will the United States ever have a draft?

Yes we have barackades but y are they so far ahead technology wise? BEcause they dont even spend half what we spend on our military they only have to pay for police and few other forces. And we are now trying to get them to protect themselves

The reason they are so ahead on their technology is because they're not allowed to put it towards military applications. Instead they make Furbies, Playstations and toilets that play music when you flush them.

Nope, Canada will be on the side of U.S. Best place to move to is Switzerland but they have mandatory military service, I think for Woman also. Switzerland is the most armed nation in the world. When they are done serving their country, they get to keep all equipments(rifle, pistol, and uniform). Every single Swiss citizen is trained and armed for war.

I think recently the Japanese parliament was/is trying to change the Japanese constitution where they will remove the "pacifist" wording so they can once again start rebuilding their military.

A lot of people don't even know this, but we have the same amount or more troops in East Asia then the Middle East right now. We have 30,000 US Marines on the DMZ(South Korea), another 50,000 US Marines in Okinawa Japan, The 7th fleet of the US Navy based at Yokohama Japan. We have over 100,000 US soldiers and sailors there right now "protecting them". We also have over 50,000 US Army and Marines based in Germany right now not including the Air Force. America is literally the police keeping buffer between people that HAVE always hated each other and still do. If it wasn't for nuclear weapons... I think WW3 would have happen 30 years ago.

Cyberwars is the new thing. From what I've heard North Korea starts training kids to hack computer sytemes before they reach middle school. Cyberpower can do a lot of damage.

If world war breaks out it wont b nuclear I can guarantee that. First person to use a nuke gets ruined for good. Due to invasiona and enemy nukes plus no one wants to look like a bad guy in the war. Exactly why we and russia didn't nuke each other. And yes probly a world war will draw a draft. But military sizes are growing and eventually will drop.

You can't guarantee that as it may start a chain reaction. I doubt countries with nuclear weapons available are going to sit on the sidelines and risk getting nuked themselves.
